Two halves of the same idea
Vexa Media was founded in 2025 to solve one problem in two markets: good work that nobody can find. On the agency side that means South African businesses competing for attention in search, social and paid media. On the publishing side it means independent developers shipping games into a storefront with tens of thousands of releases a year. The method is the same in both — build the audience deliberately, measure it, and report it honestly.
Data-led, not vibes-led
Every campaign is instrumented before it launches. Clients see the numbers we see, in a report they actually get every month.
Rooted in the Free State
We are a Bloemfontein company that understands the South African market, its buyers and its budgets — while working with game studios worldwide.
Creators keep their work
Developers we publish keep their IP. Our job is distribution, visibility and the commercial machinery around a release — not ownership of it.
Boilerplate
Use these descriptions verbatim — they are pre-approved, so no sign-off round is needed. Press the copy button to put a clean, unformatted version on your clipboard.

Services, in plain terms
If you need a one-line description of any part of the business for a listing, directory or article, take it from here.
SEO & AEO
Technical audits, keyword and entity research, on-page work, local SEO and link building — now extended to how brands are surfaced by AI answer engines.
Social media management
Content calendars, creative, publishing and community replies across the platforms a brand's audience actually uses.
Google advertising
Search, Performance Max and remarketing campaigns built around cost per acquisition rather than impressions.
Content marketing
Articles, landing pages, video and infographics produced against a keyword and funnel plan, not a publishing quota.
Logo & brand design
Identity design, brand guidelines and the asset set a business needs to look consistent everywhere it appears.
Games publishing
Full-service publishing for independent developers: Steam releases, marketing, outreach, festivals and community. Details below →
Vexa Media Publishing
Vexa Media publishes independent games. We take a finished or near-finished title and run everything between the build and the player: the Steam release itself, the store page that converts, the wishlist campaign that front-loads launch day, the press and creator outreach, the festival submissions, and the social channels that keep a community alive between updates. Developers keep their IP and their creative control.
Steam releases & uploads
Steamworks and partner account setup, app and package configuration, SteamPipe build uploads, depots and branches, demos, playtests, achievements, cloud saves, DLC, patch notes and update cadence.
Marketing & store conversion
Capsule art, trailers, screenshots, GIFs, store copy, tags and localisation, wishlist campaigns, Next Fest and seasonal sale planning, pricing and discount strategy, paid acquisition where it pays.
Press & creator outreach
Curated press and streamer lists per genre, pitch writing, embargo and key distribution, review coordination, and follow-up that respects a journalist's inbox.
Festivals & awards
Tracking deadlines, preparing submission builds and press packets, writing entries and handling fees for showcases, festivals and award programmes worldwide.
Social & community
Channel setup and daily management, Discord moderation and structure, devlogs, capture and short-form video, launch-week coverage and post-launch retention.
Beyond Steam
itch.io, Epic Games Store and GOG listings, key resellers and bundles, plus guidance on the console certification path when a title is ready for it.
Logos & marks
All files are PNG with transparency unless noted. Download individually, grab every logo in one archive, or take the complete kit including the written material.

Using the logo
Short version: use the files as supplied, give them room, and pick the version that matches the background. You do not need our permission to use these marks to identify Vexa Media in editorial coverage.
Do
- Keep clear space around the lockup at least equal to the height of the “V” in the wordmark.
- Use the light lockup on dark backgrounds and the dark lockup on light ones.
- Scale proportionally. Minimum width 120 px on screen, 30 mm in print.
- Put the logo on a solid colour, or add a scrim when it must sit over an image.
- Use the mark alone when the space is square or very small.
Don't
- Recolour the mark, apply gradients of your own, or convert it to a single flat colour.
- Add shadows, glows, outlines, bevels or animation to the supplied files.
- Stretch, squash, rotate or crop the lockup.
- Set “Vexa Media” in another typeface beside the logo — the wordmark is already in it.
- Use the logo to imply that Vexa Media endorses a product, service or opinion.
Colour
Vexa Media runs dark by default: a near-black ground with a magenta-to-violet gradient for emphasis and a single warm gold for highlights. Click any swatch to copy its hex value.
Typography
Vexa Media sets everything in Plus Jakarta Sans — an open-source typeface available free from Google Fonts. There is no secondary brand face.

Questions we get asked
Can I use the logo without asking?
Yes — for editorial coverage, directory listings, event material and partner pages that identify Vexa Media, use the supplied files as they are. You only need written permission for merchandise, product packaging, or anything that implies we endorse a product.
How should Vexa Media be described in one sentence?
“Vexa Media is a South African digital marketing agency and independent games publisher based in Bloemfontein.” Longer approved versions are in the boilerplate section.
Is the publishing arm a separate company?
No. It is a division of Vexa Media (Pty) Ltd, referred to as Vexa Media Publishing. Please don't write it as a standalone label or studio.
How do I request a review key or an interview?
Email hello@vexamedia.co.za with your outlet, the title you're covering and your deadline. Keys, embargo details, developer interviews and per-title asset packs all come from that address. We reply within one business day.
I'm a developer — how do I pitch a game?
Send a build or a playable link, a short pitch, your target release window and what you most need help with. The publishing page covers what we look for and how deals are structured. Developers keep their IP.
Can I get assets that aren't on this page?
Yes. Vector logo files, alternative crops, team headshots, office photography and higher-resolution renders are available on request — usually the same day.
Which spelling should I use?
We write in South African English — optimisation, colour, organisation. Prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and times are SAST (UTC+2).
